Your business is the data controller and the M.A. Whately Suite is the processor. You get a data processing agreement (DPA) to sign.
No accounts for your customers
The people you send a request to never create an account or a password. They open the link and get on with it.
Private files, links that expire
Files go into private storage, never a shared folder. Each upload link lasts two hours, and a request link stops working 90 days after its deadline.
Private from M.A. Whately too
M.A. Whately sets up your account but cannot see your requests or files unless you add the practice as a member.
Irish rules built in
Irish VAT rates, RCT for construction, and Revenue and CRO deadlines are built into the quotes, the calendar and the checklists.

The questions owners ask first.
Do my customers need to download anything?
No. They get a link by email or text and open it in the web browser on their phone or computer. No app, no account, no password. Everything saves as they go, so they can close it and come back to the same link later.
What if I'm not good with computers?
That is what "Done for you" is for. M.A. Whately sets up your account, your logo and your checklists, and can run it with you. If you can open an email, you can use it.
Can I use my own logo?
Yes. Your requests show your business name, logo and colour, and the emails go out in your business name. Your customers see you, not M.A. Whately.
What does it cost?
See the packages above. Prices are per business per month, excluding VAT.
Can I leave?
Yes. You can download your files whenever you like, and if you decide to stop, M.A. Whately gives you a copy of your requests and files before your account is closed.
Is it only for accounting clients?
No. Any business can use it: builders, shops, farms, salons, landlords, hauliers and more. It started inside an accountancy practice, which is why the Irish rules are built in. M.A. Whately clients can have it set up and run as part of their fee.
